Youtube Announces Live Streaming in App

Youtube recently has been taken down by the likes of Twitter-owned periscope and Facebook Live when it comes to mobile streaming. Not to be mistaken, Youtube Live has been around for a long time now but it was limited to certain big events and had a limited scope. Now however Youtube has come up with the solution, Youtube Live baked right into the Youtube mobile app. So all content creators on Youtube can now access Youtube Live through their smartphones and just hit the record button on the right corner, select a thumbnail and BAM!!! You are live. You can broadcast to your fans and answer to them in real time and do all the Live streaming you want to your hearts content.

So what makes it better than the rest you ask ???? well in the words of Youtube.

“Because it’s built right into the YouTube app, mobile live streaming will have all the features your regular videos have—you’ll be able to search for them, find them through recommendations and playlists and protect them from unauthorized uses. And since it uses YouTube’s peerless infrastructure, it’ll be faster and more reliable than anything else out there.” – Youtube
