HTC Just Dropped The HTC 10:

HTC just dropped two new phones today the HTC 10 and The HTC 10 Lifestyle. These are the 2016 flagship phones for the company and HTC has a lot riding on them. Lets break it down



Both phones sport a full metal unibody design that is a signature of HTC. Both the volume and power buttons are placed towards the right hand side of the phone also the power button is textured. The phone sports a bottom facing sub woofer and a front facing speaker that is nestled along with the earpiece speaker grill. The camera module has a slight bump and sits in the middle of the top end of the phone. the bottom of the phone has a usb c port in the middle and he top has a 3.5 mm headphone jack in the middle. The phone also has a home button that also acts as a fingerprint scanner flanked by two capacitive keys for recents and back on the bottom chin of the phone. The HTC 10 Lifestyle and HTC 10 measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9.0mm and weighs 161g. The phone comes in three color variants black, white and Gold.



The HTC 10 sports The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB ddr4 ram and has storage options of 32/64GB while the HTC 10 Lifestyle sports  The Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chip and 3GB ddr4 ram with only a 32GB varaint. Both phones have expandable storage via microSD upto 200Gb. The rest is similar for both phones. Both phones sport a 5.2 inch Super LCD 5 display with Quad HD resolution with a pixel density of 565 ppi. The phone also has a 24-bit DAC for Hi-Res audio playback.




HTC has always had a tough time with camera’s and this time they are talking a lot about how improved this one is. Both The HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle sport a 12MP rear camera with a f/1.8 aperture with laser guided autofocus and Dual LED dual tone flash. we have a 5MP front facing shooter with the same f/1.8 aperture. Both the rear and front camera’s have OIS and that it on the camera’s.

The HTC 10 and 10 Lifestyle run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box with a cleaner Sense UI that HTC has worked closely with google to achieve, delivering a cleaner and smoother experience to  the end user.





Both the phones have a 3000mAh battery that supports quick charge 3.0 and comes pre bundled with the quick charger

The HTC 10 lineup seems to offer a pretty compulsive and through package will this be the year again for HTC, keep posted to read our full review.
